Fleetly Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, protect, and manage information when you use Fleetly.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us, information created as you use this website, and limited information from services that help us operate Fleetly.

Information you provide

When you contact us, request a freight quote, subscribe for updates, use a referral link, or apply, we may collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Company name and shipment details you enter on a quote request
  • CDL experience, truck interest, preferred lanes, and referral source
  • Messages and other details you choose to send

A full driver application may also include a Social Security number, SAP-program status, and files you upload — for example a CDL, DOT medical card, or FMCSA Clearinghouse status.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, we may record:

  • The page you viewed, the referring site, browser/user agent, language, and screen size
  • Approximate city and region based on IP address, using an IP geolocation lookup (currently geojs.io)
  • IP address when a visit or recruiting-call click is logged for our team
  • Clicks on our recruiting phone number, including the page and time

The browser may also store language preference, referral identifiers, inventory view, and a flag that a visit was already recorded. That storage is used to run the site, not to advertise to you on other websites.

Information from other sources

We do not buy marketing lists. If you arrive through a driver referral link, we associate your application with that referral identifier.

02

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, secure, and improve the website
  • Process applications, quote requests, referrals, and other inquiries
  • Communicate with you by email, phone, or text about an application, quote, or request you made
  • Send application and visit notices to our internal operations tools so recruiting can follow up
  • Remember language, referral links, and similar site preferences
  • Comply with law and protect Fleetly, our drivers, and others

If you provide a phone number, we may use it to call or text you about your submission. Message and data rates may apply. We do not use your information to run third-party advertising networks.

03

When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers that help us operate, and in the limited cases below.

  • Email delivery of form submissions to recruiting@fleetlys.com through our website host’s mail facilities [EMAIL PROVIDER]
  • Slack, which receives application summaries and visit or call-click notices for our team
  • An IP geolocation service (currently geojs.io) used to approximate region for site personalization
  • The company that hosts this website [HOSTING PROVIDER]
  • A messaging provider, if we send recruiting texts through one [SMS PROVIDER]

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fleetly, our drivers, or others. If Fleetly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

04

Cookies & Analytics

We do not currently load third-party advertising pixels or consumer analytics products such as Google Analytics.

The site uses browser storage (session storage and local storage) to remember language, referral identifiers, inventory layout, and whether a visit notice was already sent. That is not an advertising cookie program.

We do record first-party visit and call-click events — page, referrer, device details, and IP — and send them to Slack so our team can see how the site is used. If we add additional analytics later, we will update this policy.

05

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. The website is served over HTTPS.

Access to incoming applications and inquiries is limited to people who need them for recruiting and operations. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Information submitted through forms is delivered to our recruiting inbox and internal tools.

06

Your Choices

You can control how we communicate with you and how this site stores preferences.

  • Language: switch EN / ES in the header
  • Email updates: ask us to stop at recruiting@fleetlys.com
  • Texts: if we text you at a number you provided, reply STOP or email recruiting@fleetlys.com
  • Browser storage: clear site data in your browser to remove language, referral, and similar values

You do not have to submit an application or form. If you do not want us to use that information for recruiting or a quote, do not send it.

07

Data Retention

We keep application, quote, and inquiry records as long as needed to evaluate opportunities, communicate with you, meet legal and recordkeeping needs, and resolve disputes. We do not currently publish a fixed deletion schedule. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL]

You can ask us to delete or update your information using the contact details below, subject to legal retention requirements.

08

Your Rights

You may ask us to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete information, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Stop recruiting or marketing messages

Send requests to recruiting@fleetlys.com. We will respond to reasonable requests. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL]
